Has political correctness gone mad?
It sure has but that’s beside the point... Which is: No offense intended but this strap is clearly not limited to people running around with little, green cameras!
Nor should any particular group of photographers be put in a position of disadvantage or be criticized in any way, shape or form for using this gorgeous item. Even if (Heavens forbid!) that may not be on a Leica!
C’mon! Take a walk on the wild side with me.
And then, do yourself a favor: Ignore all other platitudes that come to mind.
Life’s a Safari. Dress your camera accordingly!
Attention all film shooters!
As a special service to you; if you are using the Safari on a film camera, please let me know.
Since a film camera is built differently than a digital one, I will fit the strap with my shorter connectors (see Urushi straps), which will greatly improve the ergonomics.
FYI: Fuji cameras come now with slightly narrower strap lugs than usual. In order to outfit your strap with the correct split rings and avoid complications please leave a brief message in the Additional Comment section should you are going to use your new strap on a Fuji camera. Thank you.
